@StevePeers @IanDunt Surely the reason it's illegal to make false statements about a candidate during elections is because it's the candidates that voters have to choose - i.e. the candidate is the outcome. That doesn't follow in the ref though, the "candidates" were the outcomes - Leave & Remain 1/
